 Post subject: Crucible for Linux or Quake4?

I am getting tired of windows being a pain, so if I get UT3 working for Linux/Unix can I play ceucible also??

I think they have to make it compatible with Open GL first, because The UE 3 works on Direct X

Any chance of it. I only have windows for UT3. There is a PC-BSD version of Quake 4 & no more windows could be good. http://www.pbidir.com/bt/pbi/282/quake4

No. It is quite obvious that Runestorm are busy bringing Crucible to the UDK, which would actually be worth their time unlike the dead game of Quake 4.
The engine that powers Quake 4, however, iD Tech 4, would be a more worthy investment of time and effort once it goes open source. But RS have already chosen UDK so it is a packaged deal that can not be undone.
