After a great deal of work, our first chracter ever to be released is now available for download. 'Hel' for UT3, is based on the Norse 'Hel'. Here are a couple pics, and of course the download. Hel features custom physics, materials and of course custom 1st person arms.

And as i'm sure many have guessed, the Thor Lightning Gun, Pitbull Shotgun and new character have been entered into the Make Something Unreal Contest. We're confident that our work will be appreciated by the judges and community alike!

The 'Pitbull' shotgun is a classic, close range weapon, easily capable of dispatching enemies in close quarters. Use primary fire's dangerous single fire mode, or the deadly, double shot secondary fire mode to obliterate an enemy at close range. The Shotgun replaces all Flak Cannons by default by means of a mutator. The Shotgun also works with the Thor Lightning Gun.

It is soon, but we have released V1.1 of the Thor Lightning Gun. We fixed a few multiplayer issues involving effects and anims.

I'm sure everyone has seen the screenshots posted recently, and now it's time for the enigma to be released publically.
The "Thor" Mk17 Lightning Gun is a devastating weapon, capable of searing opponents with a deadly stream of lightning, or hurling them around like leaves in a storm!

The Thor will replace all Shock Rifles by means of a mutator.

This is our first venture into the new Unreal Engine 3, and we are very pleased with it so far! This is the first of many things RS will be working on.

RuneStorm will not be continuing development of Ballistic Weapons on UT2K4.
The current release, v2.1 is officially the final version. Unless there are any catastrophic bugs we do not yet know about , development for BW UT2k4 has officially been ceased by RuneStorm.
However, this does not nessecarily mean BW will stop developing.
We will be 'opening up' BW to the community.
A BW community website is in the works, and we will have the website ready for the community shortly.

As development for BW: UT2k4 has officially been ceased, we will be allowing community fans and members, to further develop BW if they wish. The new website will be available soon, and fans can post ideas and support queries there. All community members may release whatever they wish for BW, including patches, new weapons, gametypes, etc. We plan on publishing a variety of resources to aid modders including SDKs and tutorials.

RuneStorm is also pleased to announce that we will be entering content in Epic's "Make Something Unreal" contest. We've been working very hard to develop 1st class modifications, that we believe will take us far.
